I am so excited. About 2 weeks ago I lost my computer to a bad virus. It was so bad that I had to completely format the drive and re-install everything again. But I couldn't, the Windows installation CD would always fail. After troubleshooting it for a while I narrowed things down to a bad hard drive. Finally after talking to a friend of mine and explained what was happening, he said to pull all memory modules out and just use one. Since I was getting blue screens left and right, he said that 9/10 times a blue screen is caused by bad memory. Low and behold, I have been able to install the OS and most of my programs. I am back online again. More to follow.

My wife decided to give an awsome gift for Father's Day. She took me downtown to Buckingham Fountain and Millenium Park in Chicago to take pictures. I had been wanting to photograph Buck Fountain since Memorial Day that they first started running it. We all had a ton of fun. Hope you like the pix.

I have been asked by a few friends if I do workshops. I don't really, but since 2 friends have asked about it, and 2 others are always asking me questions about photography, I decided to put one together. I am opening 10 spaces for the class and it will be extreme beginners (understanding shutter speed and aperture) to intermediate (understanding flash sync). The cost will be $75 for an all day, possibly a 10-hr. day. I will do instruction part of the day, then have a model come in to practice what we learned, then give a very brief intro to workflow and a final q & a. This is the first time I do this so I am excited. Tentative dates are the 3rd or 4th week in July. I will post more details when I have them.

Sorry I had not been able to post anything to my blog lately. I have had so much trouble with my computer at home. It broke down so bad that I had to salvage what I could, reformat the drive, install Windows and my programs, and just until today, I was able to reset my internet connection.
